After 4 weeks, we were excited for her check in and to see how much weight she'd lost. Would it be 5lbs? 10lbs?

The difference on the scale was 2lbs. That was 2lbs... HEAVIER. She'd dieted and GAINED weight. We were devastated.

What was the problem? Was it her age? Was it bad genes? Was it menopause? Was it too much exercise? I’m not sure.
But what I do know for sure was that no matter how many less calories she ate, and more exercise she did… 
it didn’t help… in fact, it only made it WORSE
Even after 15+ years of studying from the world’s Top Exercise Physiologists and coaching and helping 19,841 women lose stubborn fat and reduce the risk of heart disease and diabetes - I couldn’t help my own mom. 

I felt like a total failure. 

It was my fault she was destined to live a life plagued by diabetes, heart disease and arthritis. And would have to rely on taking prescription medications. I was frustrated.
